...when i downloaded the beta 3 and put it on it srill showed as 1.4......any solutions?

beat the whole game on my DS-X. only problem was that the game froze after a cutscene. don't wanna spoil. fixed the problem easily by skipping the video and just watched it in Theater Mode which unlocked after i beat the game. great story. of course the Kingdom Hearts series doesn't disappoint.

 

I have it on my R4 and it works fine. But there is one problem. The Synthesis Shop freezes everytime I use it. That's the only problem though, everything else is fine.

Anyone know how to fix it? I mean it's not that major per-say but this does mean that *Gasp* I can't get the best Keyblade in the game. So if anyone knows, please tell me.

I hex edited it and everything. Just the stupid Synth Shop doesn't work. Grrrrrrr.

 

Ok guys, I followed the instructions on the front page. I even downloaded what you guys told me to. I hexed it myself, and I have an R4 ds. But it stiill doesn't work for me. What did you guys do to make it work?

 

Thank you so much cocolicious, I had the exact same problem with the bed scene, I tried everything and I couldn't get it to work on my R4i. Works smooth now thanks to you.

edit: actually there's a problem with day 14, I get a black screen right before i start the mission, anyone else got the same issue?

2nd edit: Passed it! Instead of doing it manually I just downloaded the patch from the first post. It looks like everyone who used the manual method worked for them. If you haven't tried the auto way, try it now. Oh, and I used a clean rom.

3rd edit: Ok I'm stumped. On day 16 when i went to check my missions, I pushed B to go back and the screen just stayed black and the music kept playing the same note, just like the problems before.

 

AceKard2i no patch akio 1.5 works.... but waht about the other games? (zelda megaman 3) they dont seem to work...

 

Yay, just finished the manual patched game on my R4DS with YSMenu. It works perfectly until the end.

 

I followed the instructions on the first page on how to manually patch it. It works fine so far. I am on day 10 and still no problems. BTW, i have an R4.

 

Ehh.. black screen also on EDGE v1.4
it blacks out after u chose difficulty?
Anybody got it to work on this card?

Edit: Just read that post up there about the guy who passed it. Gonna test it...

2nd Edit: IT WORKS! So far. R4i Gold users can finally get it working! First get past day 7 using cocolicous' method, then WITH A CLEAN ROM use the auto patch method NOT manual patch, and then DO NOT follow cocolicous' method with the new rom. Rename your .sav file to the new file's name then play away.

BTW: I now have like 6 versions of this rom lol. I made the mistake of unpacking/packing the new rom and got stuck in the same spot and I almost gave up, then i noticed chemkin never said to do the same to the new rom. And sure enough not doing it worked. Big credit to chemkin for this.

3rd Edit: Stuck at 23. Gonna test things out...

4th Edit: So I switched back to to the unpacked/packed manual rom and i got past it. I really hope thats the last time I have to switch...

 

Hi I have a ND5 and I am getting the white screen I tried to patch it but nothing! PLEASE can someone tell me how to do it in blonde speak as I am so useless with all this

im using a r4ultra and i seem to be having the same problem as like 2 other people on here.

when trying the AKAIO 1.4.1 proper and kernel 1.54 method, i load up akmenu4.nds then when i try loading up ANY game from there it goes to the loading screen and freezes there.

the word "loading" is blue for like a sec then turns green.

 

it WONT work I'm thinking of just buying it in store Ive patched it, hacked it, tried Ur Manuel & nothing works! ??? ???I'm really stumped :-\ :'(

 

Is it the XDelta patch? Can you help me? I can't seem to get it to work. When the file patches, it never saves as .NDS.

Edit 1: Never mind, going to try the other patch on the front page. Will see what happens.

This thread is quite huge, and I spent quite some time looking through before I actually decided to post.
So right now, I have been trying to get this to work on the R4i {Sadly, it's a clone but it came free with my green DSi}. the site is here for their kernel:

First what I did was try the manual patch at the very first post. When I scan the address, the value is already numbered "37" instead of "0C" and I have no idea what to do.

Second, I tried applying a patch to it, and then using the "dsbuff" method to patch and unpatch, still no luck.

I really want this to work, so just wondering if anyone can help here.
