Hi,
I've tryed the prepatched thing, on my acekard2, and it works fine till I can start to play, after all the intro stuffs... on days 7. So, any1 had the same problem? tryed to only skip this part, but it keep freezing, even the music freeze.
I guess next thing I'll try is to manually patch it heh -_-

ive tried using alot of patches can anyone help me i cant get it to work im running a m3 ds real

Okay I've tryed to patch it manually and It still freezes =( Like i said earlier, I have an acekard2 version 2.1, so if anyone can help me through this I would really appreciate it!

Do not patch at all on Acekard 2/2i/2.1, install AKAIO 1.5 and play the unpatched rom. Works perfectly.

will the pre patched rom work on the origional R4 ds v1.19 kernel the newest one
It already works for me on 1.18 i just want to know

the game freezes on day 356 after axel has brought xion back from namine, does anyone know how to stop this from happening so i can finish the game? I have an R4 cart and have tried it with and without a patch, the same thing happens.

Works on my R4DS with R4 kernel v1.18 but downloaded the Prepatched version that is offered in this thread. The Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (U)(Xenophobia) version, like most of you, lead me to the black screen and kept me there after I chose the difficulty setting. So far I am on day 26 and played for 2 hrs and been running clean I'll post as soon as I run into anything wrong. Hopefully this was some helpful information for you R4 handlers out there GL!

You can remove the existing firmware and use that, it's vastly superior. When new games come out with anti piracy it's usually AKAIO that is the first to support them:

Tried unpatched rom on Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.4.1, got black screen after trying to select difficulty.
Tried patched rom on Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.5 and it works perfectly!

 

ok simple solution just download the US version of the game works fine

 

Yep, I have the Gold version and I'm constantly stuck at day 14. I've tried everything; I even contacted the R4i Gold team, but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna get an answer. Maybe it's time to get that Acekard 2i.

 

The best combo is unpatched on AKAIO 1.5, patched may cause issues, but if it's not causing any, then you can of course leave it.

 

It works clean in 1.5.
