thanks for your help.
no i don't have any cheat codes.
i have tried the clean rom
and i have tried the prepatched rom
and they both freeze black after selecting difficulty.

it's okay.. i'm going to give up. demon's souls comes out this week anyways.

I tried doing it manually, but when I enter 010E5DC, It just does 10E5DC. I need help.......

Using R4, tried the manual fix and it works.
Was getting confused how it started on day... 255? Just kept skipping, starts at day 7.
Hopefully this works correctly, but so far I've gotten it from a black screen to the intro of the story actually working.

Great job to the person who found this little fix.

Hello! im the one with the problem with the freezing on day 149 on the video of xion vs riku, i simply skip it!! and it still worked now im on day 152 sooo if you have problems with freezing stuff just skip the video you can watch it on youtube and kep playing BUUUT this is just for people who have used the hex patch method and still have problem with freezing videos and cutscenes!!

any final working 100% version for r4i /r4 ultra? or still nothing?


for me im using the version of unpack/pack + the patched one (once it freezes on one of them i rename the sav and load on the other) so far... im on day 26 doing this...

but its kind of boring having to rename

I've tried to manually hex edit the rom and it freezes when roxas gets out of bed after you choose your difficulty. I'm using an r4 ultra with firmware version 1.54

This is the method i used to get it to work on my R4ultra (on day 17 with no problems so far)

Here are the two files you need for R4 Ultra with 1.54 kernel: (copy and paste to URL if you can't click)

Pre-patched ROM: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XMXWUQKN

AKAIO loader with R4ultra 1.54 if you dont yet have it: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?b5kmnymkjkw

After installing and opening AK loader follow rupertson009's directions:

FIX:
On the menu when you choose KH Press and hold down The A button until the Black Loading is gone..
And don't be nervous because it's gonna work...

Thank God. Thank romulation! I finally be able to get through the problem. Now watching the opening story. Hope there's no more problems after this... is there? Geez, if so, why do such a great game has to face lots of problems?!!!

For those using DSTT like me, download the prepatched ROM in the first page of this forum. Again, thanks everyone. I'll write if there's any problem surfaces again. ;P

How do you unlock sora for mission mode
I have donald, goofy, riku, xion and the king but not sora. how do i get him

to to missions go into story mode press start and go to holo missions it is on day 357.

the reason that i think that some new games with piracy patches dont work on r4i / r4 ultra is because they havent had a firmware update in 6 months where every other flashcart has had at least 2 firmware updates in that time. R4i needs new firmware.

I get stuck on day 197... at one point after I get to glide around it freezes after bout 3 min or so... any help? I did the manual fix for this game.

listen go to youtube and search for kingdom hearts 385 days fixed patch on that video there are 3 links one for the rom one for the patch and one for the patch device download all then patch the rom as shown on the video I cant gurantee on others but on r4 it definitely works.

akio loader doesnt work on all r4i / ultra, like on my ultra, it doesnt work
