    You need to have it patched. Read the first post/download the pre-patched ROM.

    Okay, I'm like, a total emulator/rom noob, but tell me what I did wrong plz, as I downloaded your link (thx btw) and ran it with the patched No$GBA, but it went black at select difficulty screen again. If you have time, could you tell me step-by-step plz?

    I believe you need to use the clean ROM (no patches) with the patched 2.6 version of No$GBA in the first post.

    I did that and it worked once, then it got the usual failures. Any other ideas?

    Only a patched engine I believe, with some other changes.

    Clean and patched ROM works fine with the patched 2.6. Usual failures such as?

    The blackout after the "select difficulty" screen... and I'm currently trying the patched/patched emu/rom and it's still no good...
    If not No$GBA, how the **** can I get the game to work in my PC for free??

    I tried on my R4i just like Cyril_
    (regular) after difficulty selection goes black
    (patch) from the start goes completely white

    got the same problem with all the r4's that after picking my dificulty it goes to white screen.

    Uh oh encountered a problem with the first mission (Acekard2i lastest akiao 1.5 firmware clean ROM)

    Freezes after mission complete...

    And not just for R4! This works as well with the EDGE (OS 1.5). Got past the difficulty selection and the dreaded "Roxas getting out of bed" scene.
    I'm in the "normal/middle" difficulty level. The beginner and "Proud" modes should work I suppose, but for sure it works for the standard mode.
    [EDIT] Alright, "Beginner", "Standard" and "Proud" difficulty levels all work so far
    Haha, I just noticed that this is the same one as the Patched Rom in the very 1st post! I also trimmed the patched ROM and it still works. I hope it keeps on working.

    guys just go to the first post and download the prepatched game on megaupload it totally works trust me ;)

    I downloaded the prepatched version for my DS One SUpercard and it works perfect, but it doesn't save...
