Ok I have an R4 and I did the whole manual patch edit thing and it still doesn't work. It just doesn't even show up on the game screen anymore. So now what do I do?

Mine just tells me the game card cannot be read and to reset my system. Can't even bring up the title screen. I've tried all my other games and they work. I even used the patch and it's still a no go for me.

What's your flashcart and it's firmware version? Is it the latest?

Really? I'm now on day 150 something with it... hmm, maybe try a prepatched rom which many have been posted all over this entire thread

It works fine on No$GBA 2.6, but it's at 40%. Is there any way to make it go faster?

Upgrade your PC. But then don't expect too much from it.

I got a problem in the game and it's at the part of Day 74 after the intel mission with Xion of Beast's Castle. Well there's a cutscene with Xemnas and everyone of the Organization XIII members but the thing is, it freezes toward the end of the cutscene. The last image I saw was the Heart in the sky and Roxas and Xion. Then there's a sound coming out of the game, it sounds like the game froze. I did it again for more than 10 times and it still happens. Anyone think they know what happened? If so, I'll be glad that someone can help me.

Yes I had tried using the clean ROM initially, however it would still freeze in the same spot (choosing difficulty), regardless of my firmware.

Might you have any idea as to a reason or solution for this? Thank you, you are so far the only person to acknowledge my specific issue.

I have a problem when attempting to load the game on my r4-sdhc kernel 1.09 (the reason the kernel is so old is because I am using a knock-off from "www.r41-sdhc.com", and they stoped releasing kernels for the regular R4.) I've tried loading the clean rom and all patched roms that I could find, but whenever I load the game, A message pops up saying "disk errcode=2147483632 please reset your system". I know someone else had the same problem, but there was no answer. If somebody could help, that would be fantasic.

Otherwise, YSmenu is worth a shot as it looks like your card may be a DSTT clone.

Question!

Would this possibly work...

Getting to a certain spot on the pre-patched ROM, saving at a certain point...then loading the .sav file on the clean ROM???

The reason I am asking and not testing it without prior knowledge is because people have been warning me about using the pre-patched ROM on Acekard2i.

AbstractChaos, check your emails I emailed you a few suggestions Just in case I'll post them here:

This is an odd problem, if you areable then reformatting your SD card with the Panasonic formatter would be recommended, as the game has been proven to work using AKAIO 1.5
and a clean rom.

First and foremost ensure the rom you are using hasn't been trimmed in any way.

Try this as well:

Download the latest AK2/AK2i loader,, then put it in your __aio/loaders folder.

If that still doesn't work then one other thing you can do is delete your __aio folder on your SD card, then copy a fresh copy over, just in case something odd has happened to the default settings.

Hello im actually using a r4 v1.18 (or whatever) i have used the hexed patch sucesfully and played almost 20 hours BUUUUUT in day 149 after doing the halloween mission and when the cutscene with xion fighting starts the game freezes!! i tried evrything downloaded a new rom used the hex patch put it on the r4 and still it doesnt work!!!
Could anyone help me please with this problem?
or let me know if you have a similar problem after using the hex patch

Hey i have the same problem but mine is in day 149 (i posted the problem a little down from your post) when the video on xion fight starts it freezes apparently there is an weird stuff going on the roms cause i have searched all over and i have found out that the freezes ocurres randomly when playing some have it when roxas get out of bed or so on so if anybody could help us it would be awesome!!!

Works on NO$GBA after downloading the patched no$gba 2.6 and downloading the prepatched Kingdom Hearts.

It also works on mt R4 after I downloaded the prepatched Kingdom Hearts.

Just a lil heads up.

same problem here, the game freezes at day 7. i'm using r4 ultra kernel 1.54 and i got the game from friend cos save time downloading and he told he patched it and is working fine on his r4. i even see him playing it. how come it doesn't work on my r4 ultra.

For your R4 Ultra you need to unpack the patched rom using DSbuff, then repack. Though be aware that you will get a few freezes here and there, but they can be bypassed by tapping buttons at random when you know they are going to happen (save after every mission).

You could also try using AKAIO 1.4.

Okay, so I downloaded the rom given in romulation, and ran it with the version of No$GBA given in romulation. It worked once, then it wouldn't let me load and then went black at the select difficulty screen. What else do I need?
