(Using AK2i)Well I guess I should have mentioned this early but the unpatched rom will UNDOUBTEDLY crash/freeze(however you want to refer to it,I still get music playing flawlessly with a black screen when it freezes) at random points from time to time.It does particularly when you skip cutscenes too quickly.Any point in which my game I simply restarted my ds and then played passed it by simply letting the cutscene play or letting it play for more than 2 secs and then skip it.I've been keeping track of areas in which it freeze/crashes.Here's a list:

Day 22~after immediately skipping the guardian entrance scene~
Day 24~on a continue select,the screen when black to load and the Nobody emblem in the bottom right corner of the touch screen didn't show(that's how you can tell if you game crashed and a long load.It will always be flashing during a load)
Day 94~As soon as I finished the mission and they showed Axel on screen for the cutscene it froze~
Day 121~I selected to do Phil's trial a 3rd time to completely fill the mission bar and yet again no emblem with a black screen and music playing flawlessly.~

and like I mentioned before....ABSOLUTELY ANYTIME I select Return to title screen or soft reset input it black screens,no sound.

Guys There is another crash. In agrabah It seems that there is a crash after every hour of game play for me. I am just going to do it on my PC then copy my save over, every time it crashes I will have to do it, Its better then nothing. If someone can come up with a Fix after mine Im sure it will work 100%

OK I got HexEditor v 1.4 for Mac OSX and just can't figure out what to do from here.
the original instructions don't seem to apply here as they were written for the program "XVI32"

i searched for that hex and didn't find it but found one close then nowhere in the program did i find an option to edit/overwrite string/hex string/ 00-37

??
anybody with a Mac figure this out yet that can help me?

kay i tried this method all i'm getting is the word loading in blue then the word loading turns green. is there any other method to get kh to work on R4 Ultra ?

Unpack using DSbuff, then repack. Game will then work. Fix by cocolicous

I don't see why you're so happy. There have already been a bunch of future reported freezes. You'll just be asking the same thing in a while all over again. :\

Just save after every mission, if a crash happens next time skip cutscene then keep tapping start.buttons. It will pass (not an exact science).
