I have got it to work Attention all R4i Users that have been having problems at the bed scene.!!!!!!!! This is confirmed working by myself, I am a Huge fan, so I did everything in my power to fix it and ow I have. Follow these steps:

1.Download Dsbuff
2.Take your patched rom. Click on unpack (My r4i Gold did not need the patched rom, My brothers r4 SDHC needed it)
3.unpack it, Takes a few minutes
4.and pack it again, Then copy the new packed rom to your Ds/i.
5. start the game and it will pass the start screen and when Roxas wakes up

My fix will work on R4i, I am not to sure about the rest though, someone test it, If you get stuck at the bed scene this should work.

Try using the no$gba from the first post

yeah, im getting the same error Irmg, and it still doesn't work on the AKAIO.....

i'll try Cocolicous solution though if it works i'll post it again

I have an Acekard 2 and this has gotten me past the bed scene. The rom I used was already patched. I don't know how far this will go guys.

A lil' noobie question from me. I have CycloDS and 1.56 BETA 3 firmware so is this game going to play fine without any kind of hack or patch? The first post says that the game works clean if I have the 1.56 BETA 3 firware but is it confirmed? Thanks.

You only need to read the first post. Oh by the way, it even works on R4DS v1.18 without the YSMenu...

It worked in my r4,Just use the hex editor and follow the instruction

I finally came into a road block with my AK2i.The game freezes when I try to return to the title screen from the menu.AKAIO 1.5 firmware still.Does the Patched rom on 1.4 have the same problem?

Ok guys, I have experienced a freeze, The first one so far, It happens when you receive your first real mission, with Axel, It jams when the cut scene is over, all I did was copy my save to the Japanese game, finish it on that and copy it back, I have since then played through another 9 days and no freezes. Looks promising. Hope my fix is working for all you guys. Let me know, Anyone try it On M&L BIS yet?

hey guys..im using an R4 and playing with the english version of this game and i got to choose the difficulty and just as i started a new game, all that appeared was a black screen....

i found the following link and done exactly what it said and it worked perfectly...

its the same way from post #1....dont understand why people cant follow simple intructions to get this to work...took me 4/5mins to do lol.

The small program file that you have to download is easy to use and its easy to change the part of the code...

PS there has been no encounters of freezes for me and im quite far into the game...
