yeah it is sdhc and 1.18 kernel(the latest). Any suggestions? Should I replace the old files I had?

Its not only you bob, same shit happens to me when I try and play it. It just freezes up and not only that but when I try to close out of the emulator from the task manager it still stays frozen until after a few minutes then it closes down on its own(which is wierd and beyond me). I've tried patching the rom, repatching it, using a patched emulator for the no$gba and to no avail. btw, the same shit happened with the jap version too. go figure.

I'm not sure where the other files you have in your image are.

I guess those images are in the _aio map

so you have the three extracted files in the root directory as follows (a folder named "__aio") a file name "akmenu4.nds") and a readme file all seperate in the directory? not within a folder (thts a quote)

is the kh rom a manually hexed one if so make sure when u start up ur r4 dont go to ur usual loader go to akmenu4.nds load tht then open kh from there tell me how u get on it aparrently works for m and l as well but havent tried tht yet

it doesnt show up on the screen. It's a screen with a micro sd, slot 2 and AK on it

exactly like i did in the image... im clueless then (u defo put them seperate and not in the folder u downloaded them in.... got to be like my pic) also read page 10 11 and 12 of the forum people with your version have got it to work with this exact method??

I extracted the files to my Sd card not inside any folders. Do I have to put the hex in any specific folder?

what do you mean the hex.... the hex is used to patch the rom manually are you refering to the hex as in the hexed rom or the hex as in the program lol im getting all confused now

This an update and good news for r4ultra user. I just Upload the firmwares that will make the game works. But this is for r4ultra only. (if your card have www.r4ultra.com printed on it) I don't know if other version of r4 like r4i can also do this method or not since I haven't test it.

1. Download the AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper and R4 Ultra Kernel 1.54 from here : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?b5kmnymkjkw
2. Delete all the files of your old firmware on your micro sd
3. Copy all the files from AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper and R4 Ultra Kernel 1.54 folder you just download into your micro sd (yes, you mix those two firmwares on your sd)
4. Copy the Kingdom Hearts game into your sd (the patched one with manual hex editor, not the clean one)
5. Insert your micro sd into your ds then turn on your ds
6. the R4 menu will show up but instead choosing your rom, you choose "AKMENU4.NDS"
7. Now the AKAIO menu will appear, then choose your KH game from there.
8. Play the game

Using this method I can play the game perfectly.

What's the good news ? With this method I can also play Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside.
So I can play both K.H 358/2 and M&L B.I on my r4ultra using this firmware that I upload in mediafire.

this is on page 11 and just below it shows a person with your version saying it works .... u seemingly have followed these guides and it hasnt worked im now wondering if u have a clone of a clone lol so many different card versions out there

FWIW the pre-patched version works fine on my R4 1.18.
