this method works fine with the R4 III Upgrade Revolution firmware v.3.09 for me

wen i click hexadecimal and type in 010E5DC the highlighted parts i dont see anything that has 0c in it... T.T

i got it on the r4! =D

heres how i did it for the r4

basically i extracted the files before i used the hex edit

1) dl and extract files
2) use hex edit and open the nds file from the extracted file(in other words open the .nds file from the extracted files)
3) go back to the first page on this thread and follow the instructions on the manual patch and ur all set ;D...

Im trying to contact the guy who made the translation patch. This patch fixed all anti piracy fixes in the Japanese one, By the way they are the same as the US one. If he can maybe help, then we will all be able to play it, I am a Huge KH fan, Got all the games, I really want to play this one, But I have an R4i, One of the worst carts ever, I used to like it till now.,

I got it to work i realized i did something wrong with the hex editor but works perfect so far thanks

I just downloaded the Prepatched version off of Megaupload and it worked after i started it up.

But I have to play it through to see if it will continue to work fine. I am hoping it will work throughout.

ok people i have been dying to get this game but it doesn't work
I have an R4i it was like the first week of r4i i got it. i am using 1.54. i have tried the r4ultra method and it doesn't work. I tried it because when i turn on the dsi it sais r4ds ultra. I would really like some help. Akaio doesn't load so there must be another way.
Help me

Also in the translation patch i got past the bed scene. maybe you could create a translation patch to change the font and then it might work.
Unfortunately i have no idea how to hack these things so i am leaving it up to you.

Original ROM Didn't work on Acekard 2i with the AKAIO Firmware.
Used hex to manual patch it, and i got past the black screen of death ^^
Thank you.

Edit - Got up to the bed scene, and when it dimmed out, it froze again...
Help?

If I play the pre-patched ROM on the native R4 Ultra firmware, it freezes right after the cutscene showing the beginning of Day 7.

However, if I switch to the AKAIO firmware I have downloaded onto my card, it works perfectly. I'm up to Day 13 with no problems.

With a Edge Card Version 1.5 I could only reach the part where they show Day 7 and after that the screen would just go black. Someone please help me. Help would be really aprreciated.

Works fine on r4 card 1.18 kernel it works for me i used the lunarips patch

the hexadecimal way works for me on the EZ flash (cant remember which one i got i thinks its the latest one) although it still fezzes 2 out 5 times but i thinks that because i messed up

Running fine until day 26 where I'm now running into issues of the game hanging. Oddly enough, once the DS is rest, doesn't recognise there being a card in the slot....
