I'm so sorry to be the 400 post today but someone anyone, please help me out here. I can't get kingdom Hearts to work, I use a ace kard 2.1 and I used the patch but still no luck. The patch got me pass the difficulty screen but now the game freezes like 5 minutes in. So someone. Anyone pleasee. I've been at it for 5 hours now.

for these patches does the r4 have to have ysmenu?
I can't get Ysmenu to work

I have an EDGE, and I got it working.
Tried both the clean version and the Prepatched one, and neither worked. Patched it manually and now it works like a charm. Just follow the steps in the first post, and it should work on your EDGE as well.

the patch worked on my R4! thanks a lot! for all those out there...my situation was when i booted the game on my R4...Kingdom Hearts loaded and then after choosing the difficultly level it just goes dark....i stared at it for like a few minutes and was like WTH?!...after doing the manual patch my game worked fine..and made it past the dark blank =) thanks for the help!

You dont need to patch it if you have AKAIO 1.5 Firmware. Look in the first page if you dont have it because there is a link to where you can get it.

You dont need the YSMenue for this one. Try this:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37 and click ok.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

Just use the new DSTT unoffical firmware with r4 and its all fix...

You shouldnt need the patch if you have AKAIO 1.5 Firmware

Did you patch the .zip file or the .nds file??

i opened the KH with winrar but i cant see anyting that says adress >> ??? ???

If you have Acekard2i with AKAIO 1.5 Firmware you dont need to patch it. It should work fine....

First you should unzip the KH.rar file. Then use run the XVI32 and ontop of the screen should be address.

@Arcanenix: Follow this....

1. Go here and download the file http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=7168

2. Unzip the file and coppy everything that came out into the root of your SD card

3. Download the game and extract the .nds file

4. Dot doo anything to the .nds file!! Just put it in the root of your SD card

5. Put the SD card back in your DS and see if the game works

I have an R4i with 1.30, it freezes after the bed scene.
