The people that say that its not working for r4ds with the hex(manually) are lying.
just do it on your own en you get acros day 11.

clean rom does NOT work on m3ds lite.

neither does the patched rom in the first post.

used hex editor, and used the m3 game manager to trim rom, software reset, and 4x DMA. didn't work.

tried just 4x DMA, and software reset.

tried simply having the game manager create the save file, didn't work.

tried re-editing a clean rom with the hex editor again, an not using the game manager to create a save file. took
forever for the rom to try to load, but froze about 3/4 of the way through.

tried again with the game manager to load it with just a saver. that worked. i didn't rename it. maybe that made a difference. will try again later with trim rom and 4x DMA and the like. Glad to just be able to play it.

7. the R4 menu will show up but instead choosing your rom, you choose "AKMENU4.NDS"
8. Now the AKAIO menu will appear, then choose your KH game from there.
9. Play the game

Using this method I can play the game perfectly. And this method is only for r4ultra user.

I used the LunarIPS patch on my R4 III. It's one of those Chinese R4's but I have it working in English... it's apparently version 3.02. Wierd, but hey. The game works.

To all of those who are having issues with AKAIO 1.5 running the rom...have you tried both trimmed and un-trimmed roms? If you are trimming your roms, you may have better luck not doing so.

okay guys i don't know if this is obsolete or not but i just wanted to let you all know that BOTH kingdom hearts and mario and luigi work fine on my ACEKARD 2i with AKAIO 1.5 on my DSI

Did the Hex Fix, and everything works great until I get to the Moogle Shop, where after the tutorial screen, the game goes black and freezes. Any one else having this problem or know how to fix it?

To all people with the R4 (orignial) 1.18 that say they get a black screen or the game crashes with or without the autopatch. Manually patch the game, if u are too lazy to do that, there are links (even in this thread!) that have the manual patch on it, so stop spamming and start reading! I have the manual patch on and im on Day 10 with no crashes or bugs yet.

when i pick the game it says loading and then it turns red and stays like that . i think im useing the wrong rom witch patch do u mean?

Could you link me to the exact AKAIO you have used for the R4ultra, all the versions I've tried load up fine but they don't play any games (loading screen comes on in blue, then changes to red).

I try to hex edit it but when I type 010E5DC and press ok it doesn't highlight 0C but an 18.
There is no 0C to be found anywhere near. help please.

Sometimes I still get black screen after choosing mission and on the start of day 50, the screen stays black. Maybe there is another protection.

this works perfectly.no problem found AT ALL with it(So no occasional black screen or whatever),at least for now..
day 54 at the moment.
it takes some time downloading .
but its good enough for the lazy people who don't want to bother with manual patching(like me) xD
