Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days Oficial Game Thread

Donald and Goofy is pretty fun to use at the early levels. But they are tiring to use at the late levels. -_-

 

He's not THAT bad At least it's possible to kill something with him.

 

He's not bad...
But kinda BORING...

 

Among all that, using Roxas with just Kingdom Key + is good enough for me.

 

I settle for:

- Roxas - Zero Gear with 4 Sight Units and Critical Sun Ring
- Roxas - Pandora Gear+ with three ability units and 1 sight unit
- Lexeaus - Pandora Gear+ with three ability units and 1 sight unit

The Lexeaus combination works immensely well in Mission mode.. I was level 63 and I managed to kill the emerald Serenade in one shot on the neverland mission... Blizzaga to freeze it, then stand just out of reach and do an arial combo which consists of a single attack (Which misses on purpose as your too far away and keeps it frozen) then the next hit which is a slam attack, finishing it in one hit. Easy to do mission mode like that. Works on most bosses..

If my memory recalls correctly "Roxas ~ Zero Gear with 4 Sight Units and Critical Sun Ring" will put your critical hit rate to above 50% at higher levels, this is immensely useful for challange mode when defeating the 6 heartless bosses in a row without healing. (You will need to kill the dustflier as well for 3 Challange Sigils) As the dustflier will only take 1 damage per hit as it has tons of defence. A critical hit will deal one damage plus your critical bonus... So if you're Critical bonus is 91 you'll do 92 damage.

Just some small strategy tips.

 

When I got this game in hopes of holding me off until Christmas, I had no idea how good it would really be. My only complaint is that getting Mission Crowns solo is too hard, in Story mode, I can kill any enemy in a few hits, but in Mission Mode, it takes forever, even with the exact same panel setup. Anyone figure that one out?

Anyway, I'll respect spoiler law, but I just can't beat the second form of the second-to-last boss. That constant healing, combined with how weak I seem to be in Mission Mode is unbelievable. Snebbers, I plan to try some of your advice, it looks good.

Well, apart from my impotency in Mission Mode, I have no complaints on this game. It was possible one of the best games I've ever played, and one of my DS favorites(the others being The World Ends With You and Digaea DS).

I guess Mission Mode was based mainly for multiplay and as they expect 2 -4 players playing together with some pretty decent equipment, they didn't want to make it too easy.

You can change some settings for damage recieved and home much you deal if you go onto the config in Mission Mode. Make sure they're not on the harder settings.

After finnishing the game twice I cant wate for Birth by sleep on the PSP!!

 

Beat the game last night.
Apparently I spoiled the last mission for myself a few years ago

Everyone who have played KH2 will know what the outcome of the last mission will be.

 

I'm finishing mission mode with Saix already I wanna more!

 

If this game has secret ending or something like that, I'll still be playing it now.

 

But I have never played KH2 ;p
I just downoaded a bunch of cool videos ;p

 

Oh, I thought you have played it.
But still, KH 2 is a spoiler to the result of Roxas's battle with Riku, and explain why Roxas suddenly appears in Twilight Town using normal clothes.

 

It has more secret reports that can only be unlocked by finishing the challenges.

 

Ah, I forgot about that!
I'll be playing this game again, the secret report tells pretty interesting side story.

He's my favourite character in all of kh, but I can't use him for shit. He's too goddamn weak. Why can't he be as strong as he was in kh 2? D:
