Thx man!!!!! I can finally run it on my R4

 

do any of these tutorials work on the r4 deluxe???

 

Try the Hex Editing method,
Download UltraEdit or any other hex editor you know,
Run it, click file--> open and select the KH Rom, lol,
then press Ctrl+F, a window will pop-up, there just copy paste
the string ---> 01 E2 0C 51 00 0D and click Find Next (with down bulletin button selected)
then Highlight 0C and type 37 on your keyboard, changing 0C to 37.
Then just close (it auto saved for me =X) the Editing program (use UltraEdit), put the ROM in and try.

You will have to go to woods and hit a Tree with keyblade. Then cutscene triggers. Its the tree which leaves are falling. Hope that helped ^^

the thing is i've tried that but it's still not working into the opening scene for me. i'm hoping i don't have to get a new r4 (lots of money i don't have) plus when the gta problem came up, i was able to play it after someone found a suitable patch for it. do i have to keep waiting for one for this game too? none of the methods have had a remotly differnt reaction to the r4deluxe.


p.s: If worst comes to worst, where's a place i could sell my r4 to (and i don't mean ebay and other auction sites) for enough money to get a proper r4? could you possibly give me a store name?

ok so i have an ezflash v plus with the latest kernel and used the ips patch
the rom worked and now i reached day 9 with the twilight town in mission mode completed by every character.

 

can someone tell me what the basic controls are?
i cant understand japanese...
(attack, jump, etc...)

 

the controls are:move with arrows attack with a but only works outside the castle(on missions)
you jump with b and move the small cursor in the small menu with either x or y(sry i forgot ) (the last option is for items)

and for a trinity which you see on the hp bar is done by holding A

well you get to the menu with start button but only outside missions and you save with the option right before the last plus if you want to abort a mission press start and choose the second option(that is everything i know)
