Well maybe they have there story.
But if not I'm sure we could think of some fantastic ideas.

 

well yeah maybe like getting riku a girlfriend........ but seriously i'm thinking riku more of a protagonist now since the keyblade chose riku over sora for a minute there!

I think the protagonist is going to be a shared role. even if a character can't use a keyblade you should be able to run around and beat things up with them. This is supposed to be the last installment of the game (though i somehow doubt it). And, what better way to end it than to let you do everything you couldn't really do before. Sure they had in Chain of memories Rikku's Reverse and Rebirth story, and Multiplayer in 358/2 days, but why not let you play as all the good guys (of course they would most likely make you use Sora to progress in story mode).

What could the story be about if Riku was the main character.
Also do you think Sora would be a team mate? What about Donald and Goofy?

 

read the interview? who said this is the last installment........ and he's giving sora a break and the last installment will definitely be on sora but this is not the last installment and i hope the game will be on riku

i dont think sora's a team mate........ if sora were to be included he would be the protagonist.......... if i am correct it would be new final fantasy vharacters

Hopefully KH3 has heaps of secret bosses like KH1.

he does not confirm it is the end, and does not confirm it isnt. He says it is an expanding series. Square enix has been notorious for both ending a series and expanding a series, whether it has things going good for it or not.

upon the first announcement of KH3 they did say it was the final chapter. what their plans are at this point i can't say for sure. (my bif. i failed to mention lack of any confirmed and/or updated information.)

but i do kind of like my opinion on making it an open/multi role game. Kind of brings it back to the roots of Enix's RPG's of controlling multiple characters (with selected party leaders). I mean it would be cool to be able to throw Goofy and Donald out of the party to put other characters in, having a fresh party and whatnot. I mean if he says Sora is getting a break, why wouldn't his friends be with him (not saying anything like they should or shouldn't).

Throwing goofy and donald in the party isnt a bad thing either.. It's sort of a fresh off the top idea of mixing and matching new characters for a party, like you can exclude goofy and donald for say... another human character, or another disney animal character. with a choice of who you want to play as for a main character out of a list at the start of the game. (make it gender based maybe? girls can play as giels, and boys as boys. or flip flop it.)

 

nah it was definitely something more like a mission...... and come to think of it i dont want any more "missions"........ i had enough for one game
