    To be honest the cheap ones usually aren't worth much. I Sennheiser 595 are totally awesome, they were $300 when I bought them but can probably be gotten for $150-$200 by now. I would highly recommend something at this quality level.

    My phones are $20 AKG Headphones. Surprisingly, they give excellent sound clarity because they're meant for listening to/assisting in recording music (AKG is a brand of microphone, after all)
