Are the files out of the rar arcive?

Files inside of what you dowloaded onto your R4?

The one on your CD is unpacked

    Winrar

So you have unrar'd the files and put it onto a formated clean microsd chip?, they should be no resion why it should not work like your kernal dose

    "SD/TF Error"

Means it can not fined them files on your chip

    The files should be

    _system_
    Games
    moonshl
    TTMenu
    _DS_Menu.dat
    _DS_MSHL.nds
    YSMenu.nds

In the rar arcive, Use them all

I didi use them all, but the DS gives me that error still and then when I put the SD card back in the comp it says it needs to be formatted. I format it and re-put thestuff on it and I get the smae thing again.

Actually, SD/TF Error means it can't find the MicroSD at all. When it can't find the files, it says "menu?". Don't worry, just try taking it out and putting it in again. And Jhon 591, "down't" seriously? Just use the spellcheck feature.

"Computer it says it needs to be formatted!"

Is your usb port OK?, sounds dodgy.

Try anuther usb port and format in Fat32 not Fat

Put on your original kernal for now, But they sould be no resion for it not to work anyway

They is not much diffrence... apart for runing more unpached games in ysmenu.nds

Sorry about reviving this old thread but in case anyone cares right after I made my last post in this thread my memory card officially died :p. After waiting for two months I finally got a new one and I confirmed that my R4 was in fact a clone. In stead of hunting around for the correct firmware I just switched to the YSMenu, which works perfectly on this and I only get freeze/glitch things in games that glitch or when I touch the SLOT-1 area on my DS.

So yea, I'd just recommend using YSMenu on any R4 clone that can't be confirmed.
