Is there something wrong with the site at the moment?

    Last few days i have had a few problems DL roms. Last night i was getting a strange error (i never kept a copy). Then this morning i did manage to get a few roms but never had much time...the sites response time seemed slower some how. Right now i just get the generic "Unable to connect-Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www2.romulation.net." Which is strange as it is not a time out error...I am not too concerned with it, just thought i would mention. This occurs after clicking the member DL link...for the most part Roms are available through the mirrors as well and those apear to be working fine.

    I would think these errors are due to heavy traffic as i was DLing happily before. In any case even if i can't get anything for awhile it just give time for my point to regenerate a bit.

    Incidentally do you prefer the use of DL mirrors? If so i can try to limit myself to using those, if it saves you a bit of coin or something.

    I'm experiencing this right now & last time (local Philippine time), I wasn't able to log onto RomUlation's main page for three hours, I thought they were doing maintainance work or something, or worse...

    I will look into this later today, as I have had an SMS from patton saying there are problems. But right now I have to go to a four hour acronym filled exam about wireless networking.

    Seph believes he has fixed this problem while I was in my exam. I will continue to monitor it.

    I am not getting the "FirFox Can not Connect message" any longer, HooRay!!

    Now i am back to the Blank page error...looks like this "http://www2.romulation.net/fetch/24361/NTkzNDYxMDUyMzMwNTMzNzYzOA==/"

    Again i am not in a rush just tring to help with any info i can provide you.


    EDIT:On Further inspection it is working intermitenly...had to click DL link 3 times...good thing it had a Zero Cost.

    Also around 2271 NDS rom there is a blip in the numbering...both 2271 my word and 2272 Partuche poker appear as 2271 (At least when using the Mega upload links)
    After that the numbering is off by one upto 2285 where it seems to clear up again.

    We know about the numbering, it's fine in the site index but that release appeared out of nowhere when there were already 14 releases done after it, so that required us to bump numbers up by one, we just didn't feel like reuploading everything so we merely renamed the files on the server and left the mirrors as they were.

    Also we're still working on the server but it should be working very soon.
