So because there are flashbacks and people don't know when and where they occured. People will hate the show for it? Damn people are so full of hatred these days, don't you just hate that? ;D
Honestly, I don't find NCIS good at all. The characters turn me off completely. I'm more of a CSI girl through and through. My favorite is CSI: Miami because of david caruso (horatio). The one liners make me laugh so much because he's so epic in everything he does. Also, I'm an anime fan so case closed is good as well or any other mysterious anime there is out there. Post Merge: [time]1251294107[/time] The mentalist is okay. It's always so predictable though which is why I shy away from it. 1. Something happens 2. He tricks someone into saying something 3. His partner nags him and threatens his 'job' 4. Something else happens (run away.. blah blah) 5. Danger for him or something else in the line of work 6. He saves the day with his cunning knowledge and way with words I like shows that are more... unpredictable I guess.
yes, NCIS is the best crime show....all others just solve the crime, but NCIS has interesting subplots.
yeah- things happen that coincide with missions- for example that ep where gibbs meet his daughter's friends and he starts remembering his daughter again. and also, other things happen along the team- there was this episode where abi was really pissed at gibbs bcoz she thought he forgot her birthday, another one where tony loses his girlfriend etc... as i said, the characters are important as the cases and play a major part in this awesome series.
Best crime show? The Wire. Also Quincey M.D. for your old school forensics kick. (Punk rock + icepicks)
Tony's girlfriend was the daughter of la grenouille but I don't remember her name because he has a new girl almost every episode.
lol... remember that ranger in the park who he tried to hit on but then she was really hairy and he faked he had a dead wife to stop going out with her?
What, no love for The Wire? It is on HBO. It has the production values and intelligence of shows like Deadwood, Mad Men and OZ. In fact a lot of the actors you see in all these CSI/NCIS shows star a lot of actors from OZ. With The Wire, it has guys like Richard Price -he wrote Clockers Freedom Land and others. George Pelacanos also writes for The Wire and writes books that explore themes similar to Richard Price. NCIS is a fun way to kill an hour, but comparing NCIS to this show is like comparing Bonanza to Deadwood. Seriously, if you haven't seen The Wire watch the 1st few episodes of season 1.
