I was certain this topic was going to be about the film "Knowing". Oh well, you should probably watch that one. Although it's only a minor part of it.

not seen it but there are loads of films that cover the topic cause its just one of those things that make a good film as it gets you thinking and can make a half decent story line if done right

only if he causes a time loop, any event that cause time loop is predetermined, example

    1. you when to future to kill your future self
    2. you when back into your time and live your life
    3. in the future at the same time, your past self will come and kill you.
    4. your past self when back into his time and live his life.
    5. in the future at the same times, your past self which killed you will be killed by his past self.
    6. his past self when back into his time and live his life.
    7. in the future at the same times, his past self which kill your past self will be killed by his's his past self.
    8. the event of your past come to kill your future self will continue to loop (infinite loop)

the event of you getting kill by your pastself is predetermined.

so i'm not the only one XD

Nope, ofcourse its not! Just like what the main character always says: "You dont know unless you try!!"

If you dont try, it will not change, But if you try, there's a possibility that it will change. :)

if God made us to have a pre-determined future, there's no reason to live. God gave us the brain and our heart to use and think and decide for ourselves, We are the one who makes our destiny. :D

As someone else said, whatever happens, happens. Unless I happen to have loads of free time, I'm not going to trouble myself with destiny. I'd rather live life, in the here and now. But that chaos theory / butterfly effect stuff is really interesting to ponder over though.

how? i dont really see how butterfly effect apply in this topic since it just said anychanges will affect the end result of the complex system....its more on the "What If" kind of thing.

no way is life pre determined but I also believe in reincarnation and I believe that you tend to gravitate towards friends and family or loved one from a previous life as some what of a comfort or familiar thing to hold onto. which for some people may seem like you are pre determined to find these people in your next life, but that all depends on what they meant to you in a previous one.
but also I do believe that as a people we are destined to repeat the sins of our fathers, not literally, but metaphorically. some one down the track will do the wrong thing and start a war, which will lead to another great depression, which will lead to many people losing their lives, and more bombs being dropped its not pre determined its just bound to happen.

Life is pre-determine ,but we can change it.
If life is already pre-determine,who know?
