jailbreaking it allows you to have all the apps for free
which is very handy, since all the good apps requires you to pay

i once had an archos...that thing was amazing...kind of big and inconvenient but still worth it. My only gripe is that the sound quality king of lacked, same with customer support. But the movie features were amazing, even outputting to an HDTV at 720p.

mine was stolen though, i was the only kid in my school with one...yep

yup i do too but i hate how apple reduce the amount of space on iTouch compared to the classic
if i get a classic i can get 120 GB but if i get a touch the highest i can get is 32 GB
    what a ripoff!

and void your warranty? Apple is a bitch with its warranties. Did you know if you call the support line, the first call is free but after that they charge you.

    I say screw warranties.

    They make you pay extra.
The warranty is for a very short period of time.
Most of the time they won't give you a new one because of "something you did."

I find it to be a waste.

Same thing with cell phone insurances. After 12 months, you paid the amount of the phone, if not more.

I'd love to be able to take it completely apart, put in better stuff and have a beefed iPod, PSP, Wii, Xbox, whatever.
