    The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time
    Super Mario Galaxy
    Yoshi's Island
    Super Mario Bros 3
    Deus Ex
    Dragon Quest 4 and 5
    Advance Wars (I know that it was released under the name Famicom Wars in Japan ages ago, but whatever)
    Spyro: Year of the Dragon
    There are plenty of others; these are just a few that instantly spring to mind for me.

    the proper term would be QTE, short for Quick Time Event and the 1st game ever to make use of it is Dragon's Lair, an 80's game.

    both RE4 and GoW reintroduce QTE in modern game.

    LoZ: Majora's Mask. Took everything awesome about OoT, and added depth and an intense storyline. Forget the damsel in distress; the world is gonna f***ing blow up in three days!!
