I'm having a slight problem with Time Hollow

He's gonna share the patches ROM with us anyways so all is good

 

You have to patch it using different programs. I'm going to use ppf-o-matic, if you look in the .nfo that's what it recommends. Fear not those who don't want to deal with it. My download is getting close to being done. (Server is going slow though. =_=) Then I'll stick a patched version on Megaupload and hopefully someone can update the released ROM on the website?

 

Y'know, if this patch only fixes that one error, yet there's still more, I'd rather wait for a clean dump...

Sheesh, they state that it was missing a 53kb segment giving the error. This is a patched released by XPA.

well, thanks for your help, in the meantime, i try patching the game myself, if it does work, then maybe i throw in a mirror while i am at it

I don't understand the patch instructions so I am hoping that somebody will link it or I will just wait for the fix rom.

 

Okay you download the patcher program that he told you about. The ISO is the DS file and the ppf is the patch fix that was posted on GBATemp.

 

patched the rom, and now i am going to test it on EDGE

edit: yup, it works on EDGE

Simple instruction on how to patch


Step 1: Download a program similar to ppf-o-matic

Step 2: download the patch and the rom

Step 3: Load the .nds at the directionary that says ISO
Load the .ppf at the ppf area

Step 4: Click apply and u are done =D

 

Don't worry I'm uploading a patched version right now.
Megaupload and mediafire are running like slugs right now though so it might be another 20 minutes or so. :/
But if you get ppf-o-matic just run the .exe and for the ISO select "all files" instead of just .iso files, select an unmodified/untrimmed copy of Time Hollow.

press "patch" and TADA! working ROM.

Wow chapter 2 was short... I'm gone for the night.. I'll be posting in these forums more often though.

 

Not to sound like a complete dick or anything but..
Does anyone actuually read what the hell was posted before hand? I think in at least four posts I said I was uploading patched versions (That I know work and am playing right now.) onto megaupload and mediafire. It will be about 20-30 minutes though because the upload speed to megaupload and mediafire is a snail's pace. But it will be there, it's a patched untrimmed US version of Time Hollow.

 

If you still arnt sure how to patch the rom.

How to use PPf-o-Matic

1.It's really simple download ppf-o-matic or another ppf patcher

2.Click the exe file and where it says iso file click the floppy disk icon to the right

3. At the bottom its going to say cd images but instead your going to click all files and with that your going to load the rom.

4. Where it says patch obvious, your going to load the patch.

5. Click apply

Done!

Btw the rom that you loaded into the ppf-o-matic is the one thats patched,
its not saved seperately elsewhere.
