    that actually depends..if you use the original R4 and the regular FW, i know it needs cheat.dat for them to work, and usrcheat.dat to read them..

    The R4 can read 2 types of cheats. the cheat.dat, which is just for R4s, but for some reason does not work pretty well. and usrcheat.dat. cheats.dat is encrypted in a way that only edge cards can read it, and cant use usrcheat.dat. usrcheat.dat is for mostly all cards

    In other words the CHEAT.dat for the R4 is an encrypted version of USRCHEAT.dat!
    i only wanted to know if it was like that!

    well guys, i'm bored recently so i went to play pokemon black, and noticed the cheats didn't work...so since i'm so bored, imma go through and make a DB that has the proper Game ID for all the different patched versions. :)

    well...turns out it just had the wrong Game ID entered :p
    The Game ID is the same for all the patched versions for some unknown reason, i did all the blacks so far... next i will test all the whites before i upload, but i believe the Game ID is universal, just incorrect...

    EDIT: wouldn't ya know it, white is universal also, just incorrect :p
    The ones i upload will include Pokemon Black+White with the correct Game ID for V2 patch, not gonna test the rest since no one will use, and also, FF:The 4 hero's of light (or whatever it was) was also incorrect, so It'll include Game ID for patched and clean version. :p

    yeah, i know, its that, everytime a english patch comes out, the game gets a different id, i dont know why :p

    Even though it was a different patch, based on what you said, i'm assuming you believe you left the game ID the same and just duplicated it/changed the name, well the game ID was Entirely different from the rest/the correct...uploading as i type ;P

    (Note) The game with multable headers fixed change the seciond part of the gameID - But will work for that fixed game - rom i mean
