wow, bender is so simple and yet people manage to screw it up.. i guess i was wrong.

 

Whats simple about it? It would take a lot of effort to make a bender costume.

 

I'll say those modern-day anime characters would be easier than Bender. I mean, he's kinda cylinder - but it takes more effort than say, wearing a maid costume. And that already people screwing up...

 

Yeah I used to be a fabricator welder I could knock up an awesome bender costume but it would take a couple of days and be pretty expensive as far as costumes go.
And it would be quite heavy, by the end of the day you would certainly feel it.
You could make one out of plastic and paint it but it would never look great.

Just found this. I wish I like maids or catgirls. Would be so much easier to dress. ;\

 

That dress is killer, so I came out with a needle + I may look like a victim of bad porcupine. Of course, I might be able to find a tailor for me...

 

I'm going to go as Space Ghost to a comic convention.
