The difficulty. (Sort of)
And the simple feel of the game. You only have walks, jumps, backslides and your whip (plus other weapon types) to work with. Yeah, it's a rather lacking arsenal to use against a Dark Lord and his army of denizens.

Like King_Cookie... I suggest you try Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (That is, if you haven't tried it yet).
Or if you're like me who likes to dig through the depths of a fighting game, try Bleach: Dark Souls.
