    Something that's addictive...is...GTA Chinatown Wars...right up the addiction-alley.

    Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords.

    Don't touch Galactrix with a ten foot pole, but the original PQ (on DS or PC or PSP, anything is good) is like digital crack.

    It's Bejeweled with RPG statbuilding and head-to-head combat (with bejeweling).

    bangai o spirits - good shooter, but a little too difficult, becomes a button masher too easy
    drone tactics - think advanced wars with giant bugs, along with fire emblem's customization
    suikoden tierkeris - over 100 playable charachters, this game is fairly new, so you probly haven't heard of it.

    that "out there" enough for ya?

    i love the lesser known games
