although, vampires disgusts me and no more needles wanting my blood!

20 or 30 years down the line we may not need blood or organ doners, but we do now, so give what you can and even 1/4 of a pint can save a little baby

 

I've wanted to donate blood for a while now, but sadly there's no facility immediately accessable.

 

Any hospital would be happy to take your blood, you do not need to be part of a blood drive, just avoid the weekends as the hospitals are usually flat out dealing with the drunks. Normally you do not need an appointment to give blood at a hospital, you can also give blood through your GP but ring in advance to let them know you want to do it and they will be happy to set you up an appointment.

One day, I donated blood via finger and I felt dizzy after that...

But, when in arm, I didn't dizzy at all...

Anyway, it is good to donate blood. Not all people have enough blood. Share some to them.
