    That's it vhiznu! What I thought was causing your problem was right after all! You should definitely leave the save type set to "64k automatic".

    Do I really need those files because I finished all mentioned games here without said files?

    You only need these files IF VisualBoy Advance is having problems running these special case ROMs :)

    Hey, CRV.

    In a recent thread I found out that the Classic NES Series games for the GBA don't work correctly on VBA without a modified vba-over.ini file. This is more of the Special Case ROMs.

    Here is a link to the file, with everything from this thread, as well as the Classic NES Series games:
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UI858LEI

    You want to add that to your Original Tutorial?

    Delete the .sav file for the game and try again. I think it's stored in the BATTERY folder.

    Let us know if it works or not.

    Usually what happens is you try to play the game before fixing the VBA emulator, and it creates a bad save file. Then even after you fix VBA, it tries to use the bad save file.

    If anyone needs help I also have a good BIOS file "GBA.BIOS" it run fine I think.

    From the next line I am typing the contents of my "vba-over.ini"
    1) Just copy - paste it in a new file in notepad
    2) Save it with name "vba-over.ini"
    3) Copy that ini file in root folder of VBA
    It has settings for many games

    Contents start from next line ....................
    Pokemon Ruby (U)
    [AXVE]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon Sapphire (U)
    [AXPE]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon FireRed (U)
    [BPRE]
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon LeafGreen (U)

    [BPEE]

    Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (U)

    Cool Guys, this should really help out everyone running stuff on VBA.

    Sure TirithRR, I've added that megaupload link of yours to the original tutorial. :D

    @sachi: Might that other site be ngemu? That's where I got the information on the tutorial in the first place.

    I just find it a bit odd why you guys even bother playing with the Classic NES/Famicom Mini games when you can play the original NES/Famicom ROMs & more on a NES emulator like Nestopia instead? Why, do those GBA ports come with added stuff?

    I also wanted to note that in the Pokemon games for VBA, if you click at the top of the screen and select "Actual Time" or something like that, it will run with the time on your computer.

    My Boktai is still giving me the broken solar sensor error. I deleted the old .sav file for it. I tried running both a patched and non patched version of the rom witch I got from Romulation. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
