Maybe with Bluetooth, that is what I sometimes use for transferring my files to my Android phone when I am too lazy to put the SD cart in my laptop.

Okay so you plug in your i device- I have an i phone but it should be the same!

go to your .ipa file just chuck it into your itunes, and thats fine(you already did that) so what you do is this
You go to your device name thats now pluged into your PC

then click on it- you then see in Step 1 go to Step 2 at the top there

Then into apps tab step 3 then you click the sinc apps thingy step 4 and then you select the ones you want step 5 and sync at the bottom right. and ur done

He was trying to add a .ipa file from the computer.

Here is how you do it.

Load up iTunes and select 'Add File to Library...' from the 'File' tab.

    Locate your file.
I'm using Touchgrind BMX 1.20 for this example.

Click on 'Open' down in the bottom right.
    Your .ipa will automatically add.

    Enjoy.
