As for killing time, you could read webcomics, read manga, read manhwa, read blogs, write blogs, watch youtube videos, make youtube videos, juggle, contact juggle, read about juggling, read about contact juggling, perform auto-fellatio, ride a bike, do light exercise, learn to program in a new language, play an instrument, write some music, write political essays, run for office, streak, volunteer at a homeless shelter, volunteer at a youth center, volunteer at a library, fly a kite, sexually assault your niece/nephew, watch reruns of 90's cartoons, push iron, sit in at a court trial, write a screenplay, write a stage play, study economics, organize a bonfire, make a new dinner recipe, plant a garden, elope with your sister, attend a yoga class, swim, memorize the lyrics to songs you listen to occasionally, learn a new dance, draw a picture, reconnect with an estranged friend, watch a sad movie, watch a popular movie, watch your favorite movie, watch everyone you care for be raped, dismembered, and eaten alive, go out for coffee, go clubbing, or fap furiously.

With so many wonderful suggestions, I just don't see how you could possibly be out of activities to make time pass.

That will suck his life away, not just pass time....Perhaps that's what's needed.
