how to make downloads faster in romulation

I need to get a solid resume together to start looking actively for a job myself. Although I'm competing with people much older then me for nearly every position available at this point, it is still worth trying. Self income is important, especially as a teenager so I can stop having to depend on my parents for all of my monetary needs.

Where I live, there were 12,000 jobs lost in one day...

So, there are barely any jobs as it is in my area in a 50 mile radius. The best I can do is I have an interview at Wendy's on Thursday.

Isn't there a way to open multiple connections in order to download faster?
Or is the same speeds as downloading without a program that does that?

Also, make sure you're downloading from a download server closest to you.

 

It usually doesn't make much of a difference really for me. I only noticed a different when the NA server was down and the EU server was experiencing heavy download stress. Otherwise I just pick the one with the higher speed and it goes about average no matter what.

 

I find no matter what, US server is faster. US Is closer to Singapore then Europe.

 

I'm in the US, so naturally you would think that download speeds would be faster from the NA server. Really though, like I said, I rarely notice a difference between the two.

 

I guess it's different to different people.

 

i would still use Flashget or Free Download Manager instead ive never got near that low of a download speed from romulation even downloading from another site while downloading from here.. haha well when i had dial-up i got 5 kb/s

I know.
It would be kinda dumb of me to use one, when my max download speed is around 180kb/s. I'd just get a little over that. At times, it's 191kb/s to 220kb/s, but I'm not too worried about an extra 30kb/s enough to use another program that I don't need.
