How to create my own pokemon game for nds fash cards

^ that's why I was thinking of making the main version with actual Pokemon, and then a secondary version using modded/original pokemon.

 

Ow m64m, did you know that a world map editor is probably never been found?
All map editors can't handle 3D, with 3D you have to edit thousands of pictures to NOT get a weird image...
Detailed:
The 3D loader needs to get ALL images from so-called ***.10.NARC3 files inside the normal NARC or CARC files, the 10 indicates how many images are needed to display a map propaly (10x10,000 images=100,000 files to hack) the people who have programing skills seem to can't set the 100,000 images probaply on a row, therefor the maps can't be hacked probably... So what I'm saying is that it takes LONG! Ow, and why I know this, I work with the Nintendo GFX Group (team to edit graphics in-games), my job is to edit the text, and HOW the text displays (with an Touch-screen icon, a different box or a chose-screen).
I can give you that info, but I can't use my GFX-edit skills to help you (that's copyright-stealing) and why I'm entering anyway is because I acctualy OWN D/P/PL and HG/SS so I'm free of copyrights and NO I won't 'go tell it to Nintendo'
And sum people saying I'm 15 yrs, they are wrong (well me brains are the same size of 15 yr old but... )

The only way I found possible is through hex editing, but that's too intense for me. I just barely hex edited the fix for KH 358/2 Days XD

 

hex edition won't do good, you can edit only the pictures of the buildings with it, you can't change the location of warps etc...

@1jackass - That won't help. I've already been through the task of hacking music on a NDS game (New Super Mario Bros.), and it's a bitch to get anything proper sounding to play in the game. The easiest way to get music in is confusing, and at that, you can only put shitty .midi's in. I suggest we keep the original music. It's fine as it is, and sure as hell not worth the hassle. (on a side note, I play guitar too =D)

@Ventus_95 - I think that'd be good for the time being. Maybe post periodic storyline updates here.

I can help with finding custom sprites if this project gets that far. The best places I've found have been arkeis.com and youtube.com/drybones88.

I think the text would be the easiest thing to change, followed by the overworld sprites.

 

according to the information (and tools) I've gathered, we can change everything in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, with the exception of map editing. I've researched it as far as I can, and there ARE people still working on it on PokeCommunity. Also, I'm consulting an A1 hacker who is currently developing tools for 3D manipulation in New Super Mario Bros. (DS).

I'm actually waiting on someone on The Pokecommunity. The person has managed to create the first Map Viewer/Editor for 4th Gen games. It's called 'Poke-Tools'. It's VERY Beta, but he's working diligently on it. Next update should be sometime next week.

i was thinking about if we could use riolu and zorua ( if we could make the sprite ) since there is what i would call Z-fever ( Zoroark fever ) and i putted riolu cuz i think that he is the opposite of zorua
i thin the name could be something like "pokemon dawn / dark aura / darklight"

@ LadyFortuna - Let's leave that to GameFreak. Right now, I want to get the hack up and running. Once Poke-Tools is complete, I'll be putting off my New Super Mario Bros. hack, and the D/P/Pt hack is going full-force.
