How do you Pronounce "pwned"?

Well, you'd have to go to your local hardware store, find something of the right length, get a couple of brackets (not this kind!) to go on each end and some e-screws.

Anyway, enough pedantry, the word "pwned" is not pronounced, seeing as it's a purely text based word. However, if I had to pronounce it, if for example I was quoting (what someone said on the internet) in real life, then it would be to mock the person who said it, so I'd need to be clear that it wasn't simply the word "owned". So I would say it exactly how it's spelt. Pwned.

What you need to understand is that the internet has become like a culture. People of the internet have their own phrases and references because thats what makes the internet great. I wouldn't dis people for saying dis.

 

1. I hate American Soccer.
2. I would never play American Soccer.
3. I don't like the word at all. Even from little kids still growing balls.

What people need to understand is that the internet should not have an effect on our language.
I don't need to understand anything else than the destruction of our language.
Plus I don't want to learn all of the slang that's around these days...too much and I like the old-school slang anyways.
