Most of the greatest TV shows were created in the 80's
MTV was born in the 80's
Some of the best all time hit games were made in the 80's
Movies back then had little to no stunning special effects but alot of the most memorable movies were made in the 80's

And last but not least... the 80's spawned a very annoying internet meme ;D

How can you ever beat the epicness of the 80's huh!?

 

I guess I came across misguided. I mean more so in terms of, "hey didn't this happen 20 years ago?".

 

When Strategy Turn-based games didn't have a map.
