I used to have a Gameboy color but then sold it and upgraded to a ds, then to a dsi. I have an R4i and I really want to play some of my favorite classics, i have herd of "lameboy" does it work? and where do you get the roms from? Thanks, Lewpet
You get roms from here. =D And I've never tried lameboy but I've heard it works alright... http://lameboy.nutki.com/ try it... I'm going to now... I want to play Yellow. =D
Thx so much! Post Merge: [time]1270712498[/time] HOW DO YOU GET IT TO WORK??? the game isnt even on my r4!!! (I put it on there but R4 wont show it!!) Post Merge: [time]1270713035[/time] Dont worry i got oh yeah thank you i love you right now!!!! (only problem is the music is on turbo speed, any way to fix this?) THANK YOU!!!
There seems to be a problem with that. I think the music is removed in turbo speed, that's why it's so fast.
You can download the roms right here: https://www.romulation.org/Retro/ Can't you fix the music in options? I had the same problem with SnemulDS and i fixed it trough the options.
Removing the music on Turbo Mode is a way of saving up processing power for the Speeding-up itself. Personally, I find it even better that I don't have to hear to the BBBRBHFBRHFBLBGRLFBR that a game's music becomes when sped up. Shantae aside, Lameboy is perfect. Probably the best emulator available on the system. Played a lot of Dragon Quest games there. Yes.
Yes, it can play Gameboy and Gameboy colour games (NOT GBA(sp) GAMES!) If you want to play that, you must buy a slot-2 (like EZ flash 3-in-1)
wow gameboy roms comes with a lot of files. how do i know which one is the 1 i need to play the game ? the main file?
Nope, but there are other NES emulators for R4(flashcards in general, I beleive) that work, you can find them looking even on pages like youtube
