how do i play .3ds games on my 3dx xl version11.9

    this is to try and get gamess for my son. I have already got a number of .nds roms that play via his R4 card but cant get .3ds files to play on the r4 or his sd card, help????

    the majority of R4 cards cannot play 3ds roms.

    Look up "3ds cfw" or "boot9strap" or "b9s" on Google Search, or get a cart that can run .3ds/.cia e.g. Sky3DS/Gateway3DS.
    Can't help further, don't own a 3DS handheld.

    Thanks, he did have the on is old sd card but the still won't play, think it at have only worked up to 11.8 software x

    Thanks, he did have various things on is old sd card but the still won't play on new one, think the programmes that made games run may have only worked up to 11.8 software we r on 11.9 x any advice? Xx
