In case you people still do not know what tool im talking about its...

    PokeRadar...

The formula depends on the chain number you’ve attained, which cannot be greater than 40. Suppose your chain number is c. The probability that a chained Pokemon is shiny is governed by the following formula:
    Probability = floor((14747 – 40 × c) ÷ (1640 – 40 × c)) ÷ 65536

where floor(x) is x rounded down.

If you guys still do no understand...

ill just post it in noob-proof format...!!

I know that, I just never was able to chain pokemon, I had no patience at the time. And you might as well say the normal probability of catching a shiny pokemon is 1/8000, and a shiny egg is 1/64. Why don't you tell us how the IVs vary in pokemon?!

I meant the probability of getting the highest IVs! You should know!

1.Master ball if you cbf'd catching the roaming pokemon.

2.Weaken it, then use ultra balls, paralize it or freeze it somehow to assist, have it's health just before it hits red (always helped me) and after 30 turns pass...use timer balls.

3.Save infront of it-saves running about

4.Have over 30 balls of the kinds I mentioned.

...sorry-IF THE timer balls exsist back in this game..

You mean the percentage of getting the highest IV on a single pokemon..?

YEA! I just have bad English this early in the morning...

    Dun worry about it...

I dun write perfect english on the net too..

its tiring to write this way on the net AND on my work...

For getting on the higest possible IV one has to play around with RNG/PID...

which deal with the IV, is it a female or a male, or its nature and some other stuff that i cant remember now...

Ahh... well, I really didn't care at all about IVs anyways. :p

We kinda strayed off topic anyways...

    ANYWAYS,
How can a Masterball have 255 catch Ratio, when the full Catch Ratio is ()/256?

  10. PhatomKids

    PhatomKids Well-Known Member

Because rayquaza is 2 or 3 so + 255 its always more than 256 thus always having 100% catch rate...

But you have to count other thing together too...!!

Ohk, gotcha. No more annoying questions.

That's the very reason i keep reporting to mod..

If he wanted to use a masterball...

than why did he bother to post here in the first place...?

    easy
ok, if you want pretty shiny pkmn you'll need to battle more or less 8192. so LONG time battling for shinys

    hard
the shiny pokemon rate is 1/8192. so *about* 1 in 8192 are shiny, if your heaps lucky you could, repeat COULD get 6 shiny pokemon in a row, (but thats 1 in 81926 or 8192x8192x8192x8192x8192x8192 or (get ready for this...) one chance in 302231454903657293676544
