The 2005 is good. Can be freaky if you watch it at night. I enjoyed it. To be honest I haven't really watched the earlier one. Just watch the movie then read up on the events behind the story and look at the link for the photo I posted. It's pretty freaky.

Dude, that photo freaks me out. A little boy in a house where no children were at the time-
    just plain weird.

Yeah, now imagine how I felt watching a documentary explaining that event after I saw the movie. It's basically a haunted house where a father killed his whole family. Those demonic eyes will haunt me forever.

Well watched the Mist last night, really disappointed. Felt a lot like War of The Worlds meets Dawn of the Dead.

Started off ok, but then just seemed like another typical of these days horror movie. Just make the creatures/deaths as gory and horrible looking as possible. I found the religious woman scarier than the monsters.

Was it the father actually, or the son that had just graduated from high school, I think.
I haven't seen the movie for a while now so, I can't be sure.
@Wolf1ion, I guess the mist was just another freaky monster movie.
Oh, and what do you guys think about the Silent Hill movie that came out a while back?

Yea, the ironic thing is im usually really creeped out by bugs, but it just didnt do it for me. I think its because the designs were too mechanical if you can get what i mean. The suspense at the start was good, but they ruined it by turning it into a monster movie.
The part in the King Kong remake with the bugs, now that made my skin crawl and thats blatantly touted as a monster flick and in no way horror.

Silent Hill i thought was ok, better than most video game adaptations. Also did Sean Bean actually do anything except sit around moping? Been a long time since i saw it, and thats all i remember him doing.

Clyde, it was the father I'm pretty sure. He was watching the home movies and kept seeing demons in his family's faces.

Silent Hill was ok but it didn't really make sense. Otherwise it felt pretty true to the spirit of the game.
Sean Bean did actually walk a little here and there in the movie...oh and I think he ran at one point to his wife's car :p otherwise he was just lying around a lot, talking rubbish a lot. That must have been an easy role. I would have done it for half his salary :p

Which version should they remake, the original with Vincent Price or the remake with Jeff Goldblum?

    I
I'll have to watch the documentary, not the movie.
Um,The Blair Witch Project. 1 & 2, in your opinion, were those any good?

    The original of course.

Blair Witch 1 I thought was underated. It wasn't really scary but I enjoyed that movie. It was interesting. I loved the ending. Blair Witch 2 was terrible. It really was. But it also had a really cool ending to be honest with you. The first Blair Witch inspired Cloverfield. That was a cool movie, although not really horror.
