Homework? Needed or just unneeded?

homework is something that is brought home. Well, I would say that as long as it's little, it;''s okay but when there are 3 tests, 2 assignments, and 4 pages of math are due the next day, then thats a lot. I hate homework. half of a project (poetry) is due on Monday and I only finished a page of it. Some math questions about the Pitageriom Therom (misspelled, i know and I really don't care). life is hard but high school is worse (next school year) because I could have like 4 exams in a day, and another 4 the next day. I hate homework, there. But then again, there would be less cramming in the school day. A period is 40 minutes.

Yesterday I got EVEN MORE...

This is an thick book of papers that includes almost everything...from language to calculating...

I HATE THE TEACHER

 

Needed? Yes
However, the amount of hw some teacher leave is just RIDICULOUS, I have 7 classes a day, and literally EVERY teacher leaves us hw. Maths hw, Physics HW, Spanish HW, English HW, Drawing HW, Comp HW and Arts HW on Monday due to Tuesday, teachers should understand, theirs are not the only classes students have

 

Wait 'till your older.

 

I find it sometimes TOO much.

 

homework is an evil selfish thing to give: as a student i can tell that none of the given homework helps me yet teachers think its necessary to give homework that can take 15 minutes since i am on the top 5 on my class without breaking a sweat but still i had some homework for the passover break(i am Israelis) and it took me 2 days to finish all the work (passover is 2 and a half weeks) :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

 

well i think homework should be optional. If people need help or just want to make sure they know the material then they should do it. If they feel confident about it or dont give a damn about it then they shouldnt have to do it. If people want to mess up their grades let them. If homework were optional then grades would weigh more heavily on tests which homework helps you study for.

 

The thing is, very few kids actually care about their grades. To them, it's just an arbitrary value with no real impact on their current lifestyle of friends and/or video games.

 

The only 2 reasons for is in-school work that can be completed outside of the classroom, but isn't completed and/or acts as practicing studying work.

 

i know i have a hard time learning at school so unless i study at home i wont remember anything.
