When I show up, things like this happen more often.
We have trolls everywhere, especially in IRC, though they play WoW and aren't as dangerous.

More like the mud under a boot.

I think Seph and Loony already answered it. Though you should run "Spybot search & destroy" every ow and then, just in case.

Why should someone switch to a quad core when their CPU is high

I had that with my AMD Athlon 3400+ (2.21 GHZ) so I switched to
a AMD Dual Core 5200+ (2.6 GHZ per core) and I upgraded my RAM to 4 GB

And now my CPU usage is about 2% till 12% max when I'm surfing

    This are my spec now:

Foxconn Winfast motherboard Socket AM2 AM2+
AMD Athlon Dual Core 5200+ (2.6 GHZ per Core) CPU speed is set at 2.71 GHZ
Nvidia Geforce PNY 9400 GT 512 MB DDR2
    4 GB RAM DDR2 667 MHZ
    160 GB HDD Hitachi SATA
    250GB HDD Maxtor SATA
    DVD burner SATA

With these specs I can play any new PC game use most software and it is a fine system to have.

This is an fine system to have too, but it is just that the CPU is at 100% when I look...

I do not notice anything of it, but it is just that...

Have you identified which processes are using the most CPU when this occurs? Maybe you just have a single one that isn't really needed acting up.

If it happens to be one of the many scvhost.exe and you are using XP and can't tell which is which, look here:

opera.exe needs 5% to run (but every program needs that),
    RocketDock needs 2%
    and angwdsvc.exe needs 3%
But if I look down in the list, I see that nmsrvc.exe needs 43%, just saw that for a second...

    And svchost.exe needs nothing.

    Right.

As I'm doing nothing now, my CPU is 10/15%

    Starting a game: Bejeweled 2

    80%

    After load, 50%
    after being busy, 20%
    and it won't go lower.
bejeweled2.exe stays on 00%, no matter how I play.
opera.exe is while doing nothing at 20%.

Anyways, Bejeweled Twist has speed issues...
After playing for a while, it goes really slow when combining 2 exploding gems...
