Aight thanks ace, I downloaded it and got "Pimp my wii 2.20" inside it are changelogs and "apps" so what do I do exactly? I checked the site for it and there seems to be no instructions (as far as I could notice)

You put the Pimp My Wii folder into the \apps folder on your Wii.

dont format it. You use the program mentioned earlier in the thread to access the disk contents on a PC.

Dude, you already have everything set up. The hard part is done for you. All you need to do is add your own games to the drive.

I don't see how you're having issues with this...

It's the SD card I was referring to, sorry about that.

    Monster Hunter Tri is amazing.

And yes, WBFS Manager, or some other program that transfers ISOs/cISOs to your HDD.

So I just open it up with WBFS and click browse, find the apps folder and put pimpmywii in there?

No. You put your SD card in your computer, go to the apps folder and put the pimpmywii folder in there.
The WBFS Manager is for putting games onto your HDD.

    (old post, I know)

WBFS Manager 4.0 AFAIK can also unpack RAR files and then transfer the files to the WBFS drive.

It's a harddrive (if there's any difference) and I'm pretty sure i mentioned that when I tried to connect it it said it's installing on my computer then just fails, and when I DO try to open it, i syas it needs to be formatted =/

The WBFS format cannot be read by a computer, use the WBFS Manager...

IOS is the operating system that runs in the Starlet coprocessor of the Wii. Not the main operating system itself...
TBH, the Wii has no complete operating system. IOS is just a bunch of loose files that will be loaded by the game/channel and do not work like an OS.
Each IOS file offers it's own functions.

Use WBFS manager to transfer it to the hard disk. Do not be too hard. More likely to burn the game DVD - R, and transfer it to your hard drive via the Wii. I get better results this way many times.
