    lol people in my school do that and change up words ALITTLE and try to get away. But they get caught by the teacher. haha

    A little more serious, one of my flatmates has just been done for plagiarism. She has to go to a 'disciplinary hearing' where they will decide what her punishment is. Worst case, she will fail the essay, and her module grade will be capped at 40% (i.e a bare pass) meaning she needs to get high enough grades in her other 5 modules to pass the year. She was not even aware she was plagiarizing. The higher you get in education, the more likely you are to be stung by this. Watch your back.
