hi everyone, I've been using RomUlation for quite a while now, well few months I think, really good site, just repaying by upping Chrono Cross (on 2nd cd now), so hope that pleases some people, got a few other good ps1's like MGS n the VR Mission discs that I will up if its required (And I can find somewhere where I can get more than 35k up! Thought it was my ISP, but its Mega-Turdload!)!

Anyway, enjoy it, when it gets put on the site!
Even though its not as good as Chrono Trigger, its pretty good - speaking of CT anyone see that PC remake that never got released (Got a cease and desist from Square Enix), but very very allegedly they finished it for their "portfolio" and released a few screenshots? Personally I think they didnt even finish it anyway.
The site is still up, if anyone cares and cant find it I can find the addy.

 

it wouldnt even matter that much, but for some reason they choose not to continue the series?!? considering its a pretty modern series (more so than Final Fantasy, not inc the remakes), and from what I have read, its pretty popular! CT has got to be one of my all time favs, I remember playing it 1st time when I was about 14, and had a little tear in my eye at the end, when magus...*sniff*...he...oh i cant go on... whens it gonna be 100% on SNEmulDS... and it does still boggle me why they were so bothered, coz if they have binned the series, then why does it matter! the only money made on the Chrono series is on ebay £75 for CT!

 

Personally, I wouldn't encourage Davilex all that much...

Please, please shoot the devs at Davilex for me. Such dreadful renditions of old, classic shows [Knight Rider for example], earns them the right to be shot, hanged or killed in any other concievable way. Where's jigsaw and when you need him..

Not a fan of FF? Y not? They're not my favourite either but they have damn good graphics and astoryline that takes 4ever to finish. Whats your sorta game then?

 

i do like a few "true" rpgs (and other square exix ones at that) like chrono series and star ocean series, then loads of other non-rpg stuff. but final fantasy is just too dragged out, cheezy and got way too many games for me to be arsed playing! I wouldnt play it without playing them in order (even though they are being re-released) it would be way too much time playing crap games!!! I am big fan of Metal Gear series, and just barely managed to play the original 2 (msx versions re-released on PS2)!

 

Why would you have to play them in order...?
Just play a recent one (not 12) to get a taste for it..

 

i didnt play star ocean in order, but i would like to play the whole series really, and its not just that, from what I have seen (other ppl playing it) its a bit too, I dont know how to describe it, bit too much "fantasy" like mysticaly boring things that seem to drag out loads. I know most games like that arent meant to be based in anything realistic but it just seems too cheezy and full of itself!
Not trying to have ago, sure its a great series if its your cup of tea, just like my mate says Warhammer 40k is, and keeps trying to lend me the book, just coz I liked the game (PC ONE!!! NOT THE "REAL LIFE" ONE!!!!!!!!!)!
