    no, formal English would refrain from mentioning the person's skin colour. So, it would be either

    'Good day my good sir' if you don't know them, or if they're a knight, 'good day, Sir Leo'. To use a familiar word such as 'brother' you would either have to know them very well and be socially equal to them (i.e from the same social class, e.g upper/middle/lower (working class is another name for lower class), or you would both have to be members of the same order.

    sire is addressing a social superior, usually the king or lord of the manor.
