So i love to play guitar. its my part time passion - And i just cant seem to find a tab that i feel like learning Any others that play have any suggestions?
The Take Over, The Break's Over - Fall Out Boy. It's a fun song. or.... The Light and the Glass - Coheed and Cambria. Pretty Complex.
DO GUITAR IMPROV DO IT. It's fun, or you could start writing your own songs, that's even better. No Rain by The Blind Melons is something I play on a daily basis. Or anything by The Grateful Dead.
Learn the basic Power Chords, the basic transpositions, and Scaling. That's a pretty fun in it's self. And then once you've done that, try playing around with them. You can write pieces of your own with just that!
Rise against seconded. Swing life away and everchanging acoustic are awesome. How bout cross my heart acoustic by marianas trench is my favorite acoustic song =P I'm just starting to learn how to play guitar xD finding time to get my cousin to teach me how to play chords =P
how about this if you like acoustic? i love playing this but im not that good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFZ5IsmAX9M heres the tab: http://www.911tabs.com/link/?4755664
Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix (Drop D on this one, I think) Enter Sandman - Metallica (like Meganova said) Canon in D Major - Johann Pachelbel (You'll need to go Drop D for this as well) ~~~ Whenever I want a tab, but don't know what to play, I usually go to the 'Popular/Suggested Tabs' section of the tab site I visit. You'll find some good stuff in there.
i play that on guitar hero on tour all the time i would suggest some songs but i play bass and dont know what songs to suggest
I think some songs do (RUSH). Also trying to translate songs from guitar to bass (like the same tabs) is fun. Sweater Song by Weezer is my favorite.
Find a Guitarist that motivates you and learn some of there songs. Like the other day i Was like, "Damn. . .Dime is the $%^!" and i just had to learn "Cowboys from Hell" Learn what you love dont let others tell you what to learn
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica? fingerstyle is different and fun (assuming you mostly play with a pick)
