I got GTA China Wars to run on my R4 with 1.18 firmware.

Seems to run fine.

WTF??I have GTA up and working put what a let down the game is!I love the game but what happened to the online play??All you can do on the wifi is swap stats and chat which is just shit to be blunt.What a great game this would have been if the would have added wifi online play where players could fight each other etc.But the only way to do this is,is with another player with a ds in the same room as you!!!!

Is anyone else just a little disapointed here?If they did it with Mariokart how come they didnt do it on GTA??

 

Patched version works fine on my Acekard 2 with Acekard firmware not custom AKAIO, also works fine with AKAIO

 

AKAIO 1.4.1 works with a clean rom.

Thanks but the both the cheats and the patched copy work, my problem was that I had the RTS enabled you have to disable it you also cant have the reset function on.

 

This patched file works with the R4, I got the fix off a torrent site. I have hosted it on my server for people. http://boorstar.com/xpa-gtac-patched.nds I hope this doesnt violate any rules as I know how frustrating it was looking for this fix for me and I just want to help.

Well I heard that the wifi doesnt work (R4) because of the ARM9.bin file. I heard it disables it. I also heard of someone putting the ARM9.bin file for "Bomberman 2" in there and it working. I think ima try this is the AR code doesnt work.

How are we supposed to get wifi working on R4 cards? Updating the arm7 and arm9 file disables wifi.

Probably not an original R4. Probably an R4 SDHC, which means you need you upgrade your firmware (I think the latest is 1.25 for it). That may help with your problems.

Go to http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ and find your exact card and get the latest one.
