GTA: Chinatown Wars Notice

So, ALL the flash cards that aren't on thal list doesn't run Chinatown Wars? My poor little SUperCard MicroSD...

 

I can confirm the DS Linker has no problem playing this game.
Juist changed save type to 64/512Kbit and it works.

 

I'm so jealous, The reason I bought the R4DS is because all I could hear about it was good things. Now they no longer do fiirmware updates or nothing. What's the point of selling it anymore.
They've now left it for us to fix.
Anyway played a bit of the game on the no$gba emulator and it was a great game, so I'll just go and buy when it gets released, unless there's a fix.
I hope pokemon platinum doesn't have the same problem, but considering the japanese version works I don't think there will.

 

i'm using supercard microsd isn't it just the same as supercard ds one? its already at its latest firmware(1.85) and the convert software is 2.69. i tried it but it freezes after the save screen.

 

can it work on edge ds ?

 

I believe that all is needed to play this game on an r4ds is, when the game is released, someone can backup the real save file of the game using EZ Flash V 3 in 1, and upload it so everyone can use it.
If anyone thinks this is impossible to work please tell me why?

Updates to the clones, maybe. The original, no, because there will be none.

The game freezes after asking for autosave tough ???

i do atleast expect a patch for the rom then thats capable for the r4 >.>

 

There won't be a patch because there's nothing wrong with the rom, there's no piracy issues, it's all about the save issues.

 

Does every flashcard team now has to make new firmware, because M3real just got one and I doubt there will be a new one soon...

I have R4, someone bring a save file but it does not fit to R4, so i converter it.

I have the Newer R4SDHC, its been good but I am looking to move on to a card with more future support for games like this. Any suggestions on which one would have the longest future life? Updates, etc? Even if it doesn't yet support this game but will.

 

Man things are getting complicated now.
