It's good with mods- they can really improve graphics and gameplay. The best is Better Bodies Mod (only bit...perverted ;D)

resident evil 5 and devil may cry 4 were on sale. i found resident evil 5 for $13 and devil may cry 4 for $10. if you want to get those newer games, try to wait after the holidays as sales should drop like nuts. remember dead space and mirrors edge from last year. after january, they dropped like flies. you can get the latest fate game which includes the original and the previous expansion pack as well as the current expansion. it's a really good dungeon crawlers game. it feels like a gauntlet legends like game. you can also get the fall out trilogy pack for $20. try to see if you can get the old max payne game if you've never played it. get shadowgrounds, it's like alien syndrome except it's not like an rpg but rather just a simple weapons upgrade. i gave it away a while back on a different website and whoever got it will probably have a good time.
Team Fortress 2 is a great PC game and valve continues to update the game with weapons and achievement's. Me and my friends have tons of fun playing together. H.

Seriously wait for Starcraft 2.They are having the beta right now. PC is only worth to play games with great multiplayer like Starcraft 2. (seriously single player games is a waste of money on PC) But online multiplayer is something that you'll play for years.
