My PC could handle FireFox, but when it has crashed, FireFox was TERRIBLE! I never download FireFox again...

You cannot get rid of IE, windows would be crippled without it.

Ah, damn... It just takes disk space on my PC, that IC application! My server uses FireFox, though.

Chrome is for the simple person and Firefox is for the complex person.

My PC lets programs crash easily. The Sims 2 Freetime crashes really fast.

Yeah... I think it is too. But this is the Google Chrome or Mozilla? thread.

So minimalists are simpletons? I bet you're the type who would buy a Hummer.

    And also:

For those of you saying that one of them is the "best" then you don't know very much about how a computer works. There is no "best" solution. There is adequate for the current needs.
To the original person posting: what do you need your browser to do? If it is just web surfing then it doesn't matter which one you choose, so choose the one that looks coolest to you. If you are doing a lot of downloading, then it still doesn't matter because the computer downloads the file the same no matter which one you use. The only difference is how the browser organizes the downloads.
So all in all the both do the exact same thing (well not really for those that actually know about web design, development). The only difference is the look. So choose whichever one you think looks coolest.

False, different browsers display pages differently. Some don't display pages properly (namely IE), others just interpret the specifications slightly differently and come up with a different result. Some browsers don't implement parts of some specs, others do. As far as standards compliance goes, IE is by far the worst. Most other browsers are pretty good but some are still better than others.
