    Browser: 1.40
    CD Player: 2.00
    PlayStation Driver: 2.00
    DVD Player: 3.11u
    Do you need to know MAC adress?

    ...anyway, can someone please tute me on a foolproof softmod here?

    memor32 is a memory card based softmod, it runs quite a lot of games

    I doubt it can brick anything, and it runs on my slim just fine.

    Can you give me your model number loony? if you hit triangle when you get into your two's "menu" with no disc in it's the first thing shown on the list...you probably already knew that.

    SCPH-70003 according to the sticker on the bottom.

    from what ive read, ESR/FMCB should run on a 90001

    you need to buy a memor32 card in the first instance. then you install the memento firmware (pretty shit for playing games, but can play some), then you install ESR.

    Ok, now. Will this affect my REAL games' ability to play? (I currently have crash twinsanity, crash tag team racing, crash nitro kart, Mortal Kombat Deception, Armageddon and Shaolin Monks) I also have a bunch of PS1 games.

    Oh, and does it run katamari damacy? If not it isn't worth my time and I'll look towards another mod/chip and/or swapmagic.

    Also, should this topic be in technical help now?

    no it wont affect real games. if it does just take the memor32 card out and use a normal PS2 memory card for that game.

    no idea about katamari damarcy, never tried it.

    KD is one of the exclusives that was one of my main reasons for purchasing a ps2 and not a xbox/gc.
